Prince Spaghetti Day Commercial first airs.

(Summer) The television ad features two North End residents, Anthony Martignetti, 12, who runs through the neighborhood after being called home to Powers Court by Mary Fiumara, 41, who portrays his mother. The ad runs in the Northeast for the next 13 years. A sequel, which includes Martignetti and two actors and relocates the location of the home to Sheafe Street, is released in 2013.
